Identify the most appealing
location-based services for mobile phones (e.g., games, alerts, safety,
mapping, get directions, etc.) and to understand the value associated with
these services by each of four mobile user segments.
Methodology Employed
14 focus groups
were conducted among several potential segments of mobile users
(adult, young-adult, professional and teenager) in three US cities.

Our client utilized findings from this study to
expand their offering of digital services to include new location-based
applications such as traffic alerts, directions to destination and
child-locator services.
