InfoTek Research completes its 2008 On-Line Lottery Playership Study

Research begins an unprecedented market research initiative which monitors
and reports the current and potential Lottery playership using PC-based or
mobile Internet technology. Leveraging its 15-year history of providing
customized primary research, InfoTek intends to provide North American
Lotteries with an on-going understanding of how the increased access to the
Internet will impact playership of Lotteries within or outside North
America.
The 2008 On-Line Playership Study gathers information about current and
potential on-line gaming from a random sample of Lottery players in North
America. The study summarizes the knowledge and behavior of Lottery players
who represent the greatest opportunity for North American Lotteries. This
2008 effort provides trend data on on-line playership and potential on-line
gaming by speaking to Lottery players with the propensity to use this play
channel.
